Bernd Schmitt from Columbia University visits the Chair of Marketing

Professor Bernd Schmitt (Columbia Business School, New York; Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research) was a repeat guest at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics this year. He came to Germany for three research meetings in 2022 to work on the joint research project "The Consequences of Happiness" together with Professor Tobias Langner (Chair of Marketing) and Tobias Klinke. The foundation stone for this research project was laid in the summer semester of 2019, when Professor Schmitt held the Dr Jörg Mittelsten Scheid Visiting Professorship in Wuppertal.
