Tobias Langner new EAA President-elect
Professor Tobias Langner, holder of the Chair of Marketing at the University of Wuppertal, is the new President-elect of the European Advertising Academy (EAA). The election took place last Saturday (26 June 2021) at the EAA's virtual General Assembly, which was held following the International Conference on Research in Advertising 2021 (ICORIA 2021). This year's conference in Bordeaux was held as an online conference due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Tobias Langner will succeed Sara Rosengren (Stockholm School of Economics) as President of the EAA in two years' time.
The European Advertising Academy was initiated by Flemming Hansen (Copenhagen Business School) and is the second largest association of advertising and communication researchers in the world after the American Academy of Advertising. The association organises the annual ICORIA conference, one of the most important international conferences on advertising research, and is a partner of the International Journal of Advertising.
