Start of the "Excellence in Branding" lecture series in 2022

Dr Joachim Kernstock, Managing Partner of the Competence Centre for Brand Management St. Gallen, will kick off the series of events on 1 June 2022 with his presentation "Brand management of B2B brands: Why the brand is also the key success factor in industrial goods marketing". The Competence Centre was founded at the University of St. Gallen in 2000. It focusses on application-oriented research and offers consulting services on the contribution of the brand to the strategic management of companies. Dr Joachim Kernstock was previously responsible for strategic corporate development at Deutsche Lufthansa AG and most recently for corporate marketing. During this time, he helped shape the development of the Star Alliance brand. Today he works as a consultant in various companies at the interface between marketing and corporate strategy.
We are delighted that this year, for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the events will once again take place in person. The venue for all lectures is lecture hall 32 in building K on the Grifflenberg campus of the University of Wuppertal.
