Charlotte Lamerz was a guest on WDR aktuell on 16.09.24 as a TV expert on the early start of Christmas sales from September. She gave her assessment of consumer attitudes, most of whom are not in favour of the early start to sales. For the supermarkets, it is nevertheless worth extending the sales window into early autumn, as there are definitely customers who want to buy speculoos and the like before the Christmas season. What's more, nobody would be put off, as other customers would continue to demand their Christmas goods from November as usual.
