Bergisch Land Marketing Club visits the Chair of Marketing

Deciphering customer behaviour with app-based research
On Thursday 23 November, the Marketing Club Bergisch Land held its club evening at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics at the University of Wuppertal. Professors Tobias Langner, Julian Felix Kopka and Lennart Borgmann took the guests of the club evening on an exciting journey into the world of modern marketing research. Participants were able to experience one of Europe's most modern brand laboratories up close and try out equipment-based research methods such as eye-tracking for themselves. The highlight of the club evening was the "Wuppertal Living Room Study". As one of the world's largest studies using mobile eye-tracking, it analyses evening media consumption in over 100 households. This provides unique insights into how we deal with media and advertising today.
